SIREN offers up to two hours of free initial consultation services around evaluation, research, and analytics for health systems and researchers interested in evaluating encounter- or health system-level programs targeting patients’ social needs.
Through its staff and network of expert researchers, SIREN can provide assistance with: research study design; metrics selection (social screening tools, health, and utilization outcomes); or data analysis planning for health sector-based social screening and/or intervention studies. We can also help to connect your group with other academic researchers with relevant expertise.
Consultations that our team has conducted to date include working with hospitals and community health centers on selecting new social screening tools; designing both qualitative and quantitative social screening and intervention studies; and developing provider survey tools to measure provider engagement around health care-based social screening and interventions.
