SIREN's third national research conference, “Advancing the Science of Social Care” will take place at the Wyndham San Diego Bayside in San Diego, California on February 2-4, 2025.
The SIREN 2025 National Research Meeting will bring together social care researchers, practitioners, community members, advocates, and policymakers to foster shared learning about the healthcare sector’s investments in social care programs and policies. The conference’s primary goals are to:
- Share and examine recent research on social and medical care integration and alignment;
- Identify and prioritize filling persistent research gaps in this field; and
- Foster new collaborations to deepen effectiveness and implementation research, community-engaged research, and the translation of research to practice
This conference is made possible through the foundational support of the Kaiser Permanente National Community Benefit Fund at The East Bay Community Foundation. A list of co-sponsors is included below.
Registration
Registration for our 2025 SIREN National Research Meeting is now open. Early bird registration is $500 for general attendees and $250 for students/fellows, and will be open until December 9, 2024.
Note: Accepted podium and workshop presenters will receive a personalized link for discounted registration.

Event Policy
The following event policy outlines the terms and conditions for attendance, participation, and refunds for the SIREN 2025 conference. By registering for this event, participants agree to comply with this policy.
Registration
All participants must complete the registration form and pay the associated fees to attend this event. Registration is considered complete only upon receipt of full payment. Upon successful registration, participants will receive a confirmation email with event details. It is the responsibility of the participant to ensure that all information provided is accurate.
Attendance
Participants must check in at the registration desk upon arrival. All participants are expected to behave professionally and respectfully. Harassment of any kind will not be tolerated and may result in expulsion from the event with a refund.
Cancellation Policy
All registration cancellations must be submitted in writing via email to Carly.Moore@horizonmeetingmanagement.com. If cancellation is requested on or before December 2, 2024, at 11:59 pm EDT, you will receive a full refund minus a $50 administrative processing fee. Cancellation requests received from December 3, 2024 to January 3, 2025 will be refunded at 50% of registration fees paid, minus a processing fee of $50. Registrants who cancel after January 3, 2025 or who are no-shows for the conference will not receive a refund. Registration can be transferred to another attendee until 48 hours before the event without penalty. Transfer requests can be sent to Carly.Moore@horizonmeetingmanagement.com.
Photography and Recording
There may be photography, audio, or video recording at the SIREN 2025 National Research Meeting. By entering the event premises, you give consent to the use of your photograph, likeness, or video or audio recording in whole or in part without restriction or limitation for any educational, promotional, or any purpose for distribution in UCSF SIREN online and printed publications or any publication in other media. You release UCSF SIREN, their officers, and employees, and each and all persons involved, from any liability connected with the taking, recording, digitizing, or publication of interviews, photographs, computer images, video and/or sound recordings. If you do not want to be photographed or otherwise recorded, please notify the individuals capturing the information.
By registering for this event, participants acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to the terms and conditions outlined in the policy above.
