Building consumer engagement in health care: From transactional to transformational
More than three years (and one presidential election) ago, we launched the Center for Consumer Engagement in Health Innovation. Established by a $14.8 million legacy grant from the Atlantic Philanthropies, the center has a simple, yet ambitious, goal: to make sure that consumers—particularly those with the most complex health and social needs—are at the center of improving health policy and delivery.
