Docs for Health

Docs for Health is a platform of curated high-yield advocacy opportunities and educational resources intended for health care providers to use in supporting the health needs of their patients. While many social and structural determinants of health are most appropriately addressed by our colleagues in social work, community health work, and related professions, certain forms and form letters require the input and signature of a healthcare provider. These forms and letters constitute a bureaucratic social service system that was not built to be easily accessible to those in greatest need. Paperwork in particular is often used as a barrier and justification for denial of services. Docs for Health empowers providers to efficiently and effectively navigate these labyrinthine systems so that patients can more effectively fulfill their own health goals.
