Homeless response 101

California Health Care Foundation

Cross-system collaboration better serves people who are experiencing or at risk of homelessness. It also makes things easier, less costly, and more efficient for both health care and homeless assistance systems overall.Addressing the health-related needs of people experiencing homelessness is central to ending homelessness. Similarly, stable housing is fundamental to maintaining good health and minimizing the costs of unnecessary emergency department (ED) use and hospital admissions.
