Learning from the SIREN 2025 National Research Meeting
Health Serv Res
It is a privilege to introduce this special issue showcasing research abstracts presented at the Social Interventions Research and Evaluation Network (SIREN) 2025 National Research Meeting. The event included patients, researchers, educators, practitioners, community activists, policymakers, and funders, all hoping to advance health equity at the intersection of health and social care delivery. The conference was SIREN's third national research meeting—readers can find products from this meeting as well as from the 2019 and 2022 meetings in the SIREN Evidence and Resource Library. Though accurate, the “SIREN 2025 National Research Meeting” title is too bland to describe the experience of participants. Instead, as one attendee put it, this year's conference felt like lightning in a bottle.
