Leary JC, Landrigan CP, Garg A
Acad Pediatr

In this progress report, we consider our study’s findings in the context of subsequent research performed and literature published since we first submitted our study’s manuscript on June 30, 2021. We discuss parent perspectives on inpatient social needs screening, implementation of various social care programs, and national prevalence and variability of social needs screening practices across hospitals. We also identify remaining gaps for future clinical, research, and policy efforts.
